Privacy Policy

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
- Registration data: username, email address, date of birth, gender, sexual orientation.
- Profile data: photos, county, town, interests/fetishes, bio.
- Location data: GPS coordinates (if you grant permission) or geocoded coordinates derived from your entered county and town. Used solely for distance calculation between users.
- Payment data: phone number used for M-Pesa payment, transaction reference, and amount. We do not store full payment card details.
- Usage data: login timestamps, profile views, likes, matches, and messages.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To operate and personalise your experience on the platform.
- To calculate and display approximate distances between users.
- To process subscription payments.
- To enforce community rules and investigate reports of abuse.
- To send account-related emails such as email verification and password reset.

3. WHAT WE DO NOT DO
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- We do not share your data with advertisers.

4. DATA RETENTION
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, photos, messages, and personal data are permanently deleted from our systems. Anonymised transaction records may be retained for legal and financial compliance purposes.

5. PHOTOS
Profile photos are stored on our servers and displayed to other users on the platform. Do not upload photos that identify you in ways you are not comfortable with. You may delete your photos at any time from your account settings.

6. LOCATION
Location data is used only to calculate approximate distances shown to other users (e.g. "3 km away"). Your exact coordinates are never displayed. If you entered your location manually, coordinates are estimated from your county and town via a third-party geocoding service (Nominatim/OpenStreetMap).

7. SECURITY
Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. YOUR RIGHTS
You may update your profile information at any time via account settings. You may request an export of your personal data. You may delete your account at any time, which permanently removes your data.

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We use the following third-party services: MPESA for payment processing, Nominatim/OpenStreetMap for geocoding, and Bunny Fonts for typography. Each has their own privacy policy governing their data handling.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
